AN ADVENTURE AT THE CROSSROADS
OF EMPATHY & ESCAPE

No Baggage Allowed is a different take on a travel show inviting viewers to put themselves in the shoes of an explorer connecting authentically with other cultures.

An empty suitcase removes expectations and limitations.

LEARN TO LET GO!

Flipping The Familiar

In our impersonal, increasingly digital world, people are hungrier than ever for memorable experiences and a broader perspective. Derivative, repetitive content further feelings of disconnection.

No Baggage Allowed is a different take on a travel show, combining familiar reality TV paradigms (escapism, adventure, competition, fashion), delivered in a unique and sellable format.

This show can start endless interesting conversations:
  • – Does what we wear open doors or build up walls?
  • – How can we be great guests as we arrive in new surroundings?
  • – What are the different cultural norms for attire in some of the off-the-beaten-path places around the globe?
  • – What does this bigger world around us teach us about ourselves?

The Origin Of No Baggage Allowed

Michele Ann Dillberg was raised in Los Angeles surrounded by artists, actors, and writers. With an entrepreneurial drive and a creative spirit she managed restaurants, worked in interior design, wrote a children’s book, and for many recent decades, she and her husband have run a preventive healthcare clinic on Kauai, a role in which empathy is paramount.
An avid traveler, Michele developed the idea behind No Baggage Allowed around the premise that “it would be really fun to travel someplace with an empty suitcase and just play it out”. She tested it as a game with girlfriends for her 50th birthday in New York City.
